J. S. Bach/arr. Burkhart
This arrangement of a J. S. Bach favorite is flexible in both length and instrumentation.
Being in a standard ABA form, the entire piece lasts 5’05”, but by omitting the B section and Da Capo, it can be shortened to 2’05”.
Parts are provided for many combinations of two solo instruments.
The 1st Solo Part is provided for performance by Violin, Flute, Oboe, and Trumpet in C. Transposed parts for Clarinet in Bb and Trumpet in Bb are also provided.
The 2nd Solo Part is provided for Violin, Flute, Oboe, and Trumpet in C, and transposed parts are provided for Clarinet in Bb, Trumpet in Bb, Piccolo Trumpet in A, and Viola.
Some of the parts may be played in either upper or lower octaves.
